“ Great food served by very friendly staff in a cozy, nice setting. It was the real highlight of the day: my whole family greatly enjoyed everything we ordered. Such a difference to many other places in the area not just in terms of the style but, even more important, in terms of the taste and the food quality! We will try to come back if we happen to be nearby. ”

“ Came across this place through the fantastic Google reviews whilst being in the area, so we stopped here for an early dinner and the food was AMAZING. Great menu, not too many options but enough to find it difficult to choose from. We had the meat platter (poultry, 2 different pieces of pork and we chose Spaetzle instead of Knoedel), then the Hackbraten and the beef and pork in creamy sauce and each dish was prepared perfectly - compliment to the chef again. The beer garden is very beautiful and peaceful - great find! Sadly, we had a very unpleasant experience with one of the service team who was just rude (we asked if we could leave a tip via card to which she just said 'so we have to pay tax on it, I don't think so' and shook her head and raised her eyebrow. We then left 10% in cash and apologized for the 'silly' question and asked for the VAT to which she then said 'oh really? now I have to go back inside to print it and then back outside' which I don't think is too much to ask... and those were just a few unpleasant interactions with this lady) and when we told her colleague, we weren't listened to and that left a sad aftertaste. BUT, foodwise and atmosphere - 10 out of 10 ”
